The Queens Platinum Jubilee
The City of Leeds Pipe Band will be taking part in the international piping effort to mark the Platinum Jubilee. Supporting a local event in the Leeds area, we will be piping at tune Diu Regnere which has been specially commissioned for the jubilee.

The carnival, in its present form, began with a public meeting in 1982, when a small group started the event that continued and grew - until Covid put a stop to it in 2020 and 2021. Returning now in its 40th year, the Band will once again be supporting this event.

Leeds Armed Forces Day
Hosted by the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Leeds will celebrate Armed Forces Day on Saturday 2nd July, 11am – 4pm with a free event on Briggate in Leeds City Centre.
