Come and join the City of Leeds Pipe Band, Macmillan Cancer Support and Leeds Cancer Support for their Fifth\u00a0\u2018Carols for Christmas\u2019 concert at Leeds Minster (formerly Leeds Parish Church) on:<\/p>\n

Wednesday 13th December 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

Returning again, by popular demand, The City of Leeds Pipe Band will welcome guests\u00a0when doors open at 6.30pm. They will be followed by performers new to this year\u2019s\u00a0event as well as past favourites including The Grammar School at Leeds String\u00a0Ensemble, Natalie Wilson, Ben Lancaster and the Leeds Minster Choir. It promises\u00a0to be another evening packed full of inspiring Christmas Carols and festive\u00a0entertainment for your delight.<\/p>\n

All funds raised from this event will be shared between Macmillan Cancer Support,\u00a0which provides practical, medical and financial provision for those affected by cancer\u00a0and constantly aim to push for better cancer care, and Leeds Cancer Support, based\u00a0at St. James\u2019s University Hospital, which provides information, emotional support\u00a0and supportive therapies to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis. Last year, Leeds\u00a0Cancer Support reached and supported over 15,000 people affected by cancer.<\/p>\n

Tickets are \u00a310 per person (free for children aged 12 and under). Tickets are on sale\u00a0now and are available from the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre, St James\u2019s\u00a0University Hospital. Refreshments include mince pies and other festive treats, mulled\u00a0wine and soft drinks.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the generosity of the acts donating their talents, local sponsorship and\u00a0your support, all money raised goes directly to supporting those affected by cancer\u00a0and helps to make sure that \u2018no one faces cancer alone\u2019.<\/p>\n
