When the child Arthur\u2019s father is murdered, Arthur\u2019s uncle, Vortigern (Jude Law), seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy.<\/p>\n

Starring with Hunnam (FX\u2019s \u201cSons of Anarchy\u201d) and Oscar nominee Law (\u201cCold Mountain,\u201d \u201cThe Talented Mr. Ripley\u201d) are Astrid Berg\u00e8s-Frisbey (\u201cPirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides\u201d); Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou (\u201cBlood Diamond,\u201d \u201cIn America\u201d); Aidan Gillen (HBO\u2019s \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d); and Eric Bana (\u201cStar Trek\u201d).<\/p>\n

Guy Ritchie (\u201cThe Man from U.N.C.L.E.,\u201d the \u201cSherlock Holmes\u201d films) directed the film from a screenplay by Joby Harold and Guy Ritchie & Lionel Wigram, story by David Dobkin and Joby Harold. The film is produced by Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman (\u201cA Beautiful Mind\u201d), Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, Steve Clark-Hall, Guy Ritchie and Lionel Wigram. David Dobkin and Bruce Berman are executive producers.<\/p>\n
