The Leeds St Patrick’s Day Parade is in its seventeenth\u00a0year and is a celebration of all things Irish.<\/p>\n

This year’s Parade will be followed by celebrations in Millennium Square, including live traditional Irish music and dancing, stalls, food, displays and much more. This is a fantastic event for families and friends of all ages, and all are welcome to join in the fun. The parade will leave from Cookridge Street at 11 am.<\/p>\n

The square is currently home to the Leeds Big Screen and plays host to some of the our key events such as the popular annual Christkindelmarkt German Christmas Market and the Ice Cube outdoor temporary ice rink plus major sport screenings.<\/p>\n

The square is also widely used for various community based\u00a0 celebrations, charitable and commercial events and promotions staged throughout the year including St Patrick’s Day, Vaisakhi and Leeds Pride celebrations, Leeds Half Marathon and The Leeds 10k – Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All sporting events plus other high profile events such as live outdoor music concerts.<\/p>\n
