Meanwood Memorial
This is a short parade and memorial service held in Meanwood to mark the battle of the Somme and to remember the local men who served in the conflict. We are joined by the Royal British Legion and local scouting groups to parade down Memorial Drive for a Service of Remembrance.

The Holbeck Gala is a fantastic local event, taking place each year on the first Saturday in July on Holbeck Moor. The City of Leeds Pipe Band are once again taking part in this event, leading the parade that winds through Holbeck to onto Holbeck Moor.

The 2018 Kirkstall Festival will take place on Saturday 14th July in the picturesque grounds of the 12th Century Kirkstall Abbey. Farsley Christmas Lights will be switched on following the annual parade through the village on Wednesday, 28 November. The parade leaves Farsley Library at 6.30pm.
