SUMMARY:Otley Carnival
DESCRIPTION:2019 is the 36th year of the Otley Carnival. This day-long event is a celebration of the town and its residents aimed at giving local children a day to remember. The event is held on the third Saturday of June every year. \nThe event starts with a parade comprising numerous colourful floats\, walking tableaux\, various bands and a variety of vehicles. It wends its way through the town centre and finishes on the Otley Show Field at Bridge End. \nHere the fun continues with sideshows and funfair activities. The Carnival Queen and her team are crowned and the entertainment is provided by bands and speciality acts which vary each year. \n
