DESCRIPTION:Come and join the City of Leeds Pipe Band\, Macmillan Cancer Support and Leeds Cancer Support for their Fifth ‘Carols for Christmas’ concert at Leeds Minster (formerly Leeds Parish Church) on: \nWednesday 13th December 2017 \nReturning again\, by popular demand\, The City of Leeds Pipe Band will welcome guests when doors open at 6.30pm. They will be followed by performers new to this year’s event as well as past favourites including The Grammar School at Leeds String Ensemble\, Natalie Wilson\, Ben Lancaster and the Leeds Minster Choir. It promises to be another evening packed full of inspiring Christmas Carols and festive entertainment for your delight. \nAll funds raised from this event will be shared between Macmillan Cancer Support\, which provides practical\, medical and financial provision for those affected by cancer and constantly aim to push for better cancer care\, and Leeds Cancer Support\, based at St. James’s University Hospital\, which provides information\, emotional support and supportive therapies to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis. Last year\, Leeds Cancer Support reached and supported over 15\,000 people affected by cancer. \nTickets are £10 per person (free for children aged 12 and under). Tickets are on sale now and are available from the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre\, St James’s University Hospital.
