DESCRIPTION:For the 2018 Ilkley Carnival\, we’ll be there again with our bagpipes and drums. Last years theme was “At The Movies”\, so this year it moves to the small screen\, the theme offers participants the chance to get their thinking caps on and get creative with TV related ideas for the May Day event. \nCity of Leeds Pipe Band at Ilkley Carnival \n  \nWhether you’re mad for The Muppets\, bonkers about Bake Off or enjoy watching the Woolpack\, it’s time to ditch the remote and celebrate the 2018 Ilkley Carnival theme\, TV programmes. \nCome down and join in the fun on 7 May 2018\, see you there! \nLead Tip Billy Macdonald at Ilkley Carnival \nAs well as the event’s infamous May Day parade\, carnival day promises live acts\, a vintage car show\, the unmissable and historic Black Hats vs White Hats cricket match\, a fun dog show and an enviable line up of free children’s entertainment alongside charity and trade stalls on the town’s East Holmes Field showground.
