SUMMARY:Vale of Atholl Junior and City of Leeds Pipe Bands Gathering
DESCRIPTION:As part of our little trip north of the border\, we are joining the Vale of Atholl Junior Pipe Band at the Atholl Palace Hotel for a bit of a gathering! \nThe modern descendent of the Gaelic for ‘gathering’ is Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee)\, so thats what we’re going to do…have a fun filled night of good music and great company! \nEveryone is welcome to take part\, young or old\, experienced dancers to beginners and even the drummers! \nIf you come you won’t be forced to dance\, well maybe by your mates but sit at the side with a beer by all means. The emphasis is on having fun and being sociable so to help us along there will be an accordion band\, highland dancers and of course bagpipes! \nThis all takes place in the imposing highland setting of the Atholl Palace Hotel\, Pitlochry on Monday 15th May at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7 pm. Ticket price includes stovies. Contact details and more information on tickets are below.
