Wetherby Christmas Lights

If you are looking for a great evening of family fun, then you’ll be pleased to know that Wetherby are having their annual Christmas Lights Switch On and Market event on 24th November 2016, all the fun starts at 6pm.

Held around the Town Hall, there is lots of entertainment. With fun for all the family and a full market which will be taking part in the evening’s events. You won’t be able to miss the fairground rides, hot food and true ‘Switch On’ tradition. Don’t forget we will also be there closing festivities.

The important job of the evening, switching on the lights, will this year be at the fingertips of Christine Talbot and Kadeena Cox.

Wetherby are pleased to welcome back Christine, who is not only a familiar and loved face from ITV News Caldendar but lives in the local community too. Christine will be joined by Kadeena, who started her love of sport at Wetherby High School and became the first Paralympian to win medals in two different sports since 1984.
